Boom, and one month had passed.
Many new experiences I had.
I can finally do the things I like.
Launceston, a very laid back city I should say instead of using boring.
I like it actually, except for some freaks and idiots which is a disgrace of Australia.
Stupid racist... pathetic, broke, stray, filthy poor racist Australians...
Those adjectives are literally true... uneducated Australians from the lower end of society.
As Malaysians, we've grown such tolerance to racists that it actually doesn't really affect us at all...
Anyway,
Orientation week sucked.
Thanks to Shi Hao's fun and adventurous O-week, my anxiety grew larger and larger.
But until the day came, I was stunned........ by how boring and dull it was -.-
5pm sharp and you're on your own...
Not to mention there's no WIFI in the rooms and I had to skype under the cold moon for the first week.
After surviving that, classes finally started,
Oceonography... Waves, soil, currents and geography stuff...
None of my interest but it was a compulsory subject -.-
Boring~ and the lecturer what you'd expect of an old scientist,
Old and slow going around his own business in his own world........
Then there was Chemistry for Life Science.
What they thought us,
Well, atoms, electrons, protons, the periodic table, elements, compounds and mixture.
Although I've forgotten a most of my chemistry,
but now I feel like I've been through the wrath of Leela for nothing,
and I'm starting all over again here -.-
Aquatic Biology A, one of my favorite unit but obviously with a hell lot of memorizing.
What we did..........cool stuff............
a rotifer (zooplankton) stuffed with algae we fed them :D
an abalone I disected. Goal: find the anus and bla bla bla...serious lol
And lastly, my major unit, Aquaculture :D
Fun, but not as cool as Aquatic Biology A...
but I still like it though ^^
In the Aquaculture Center, there were stuff that made me realised that "Yes, this is what I came here for! "
There were loads of huge tanks and a range of sizes of fishes in them,
and there's even two tanks specifically for seahorses :D
First week, we were assigned to feed the fish for the rest of the month, and mine's still growing weel ^^
Me feeding me baby fishes ^^
Beautiful seahorse :D
and ya, not to mention my horrible gum boots -.-
and this wraps up my month living my Uni Life !!! :D
